The Nutrition is all in the Skin
Alfa Fruit Packers employ government certified horticulturist who are continually working with our growers to improve the fruit they produce. They work closely with each grower to ensure insecticide and pesticide levels do not exceed the tolerance levels set by International fruit safety standard.
During harvest, our staff coordinate with growers for unbagging, picking, and delivery to ensure the fruit arrives at our packing plant in its optimum condition.
Once we receive an order from our customer, the fruit is taken out of the cold storage immediately and put into our packing line, traveling through distilled water, cleaned by fruit grade detergent, disinfected by diluted chlorine, and brushed dry. Then segregating into its designated lane by size, color, and defect (selected by a computer taking 40 pictures per apple). Furthermore, workers will then select and sock the apples before putting into the box. Every apple that is packed in an Alfa box goes through at least 4 selection processes: The farmer, Alfa’s Quality control, Alfa’s state of the art sorting machine, Alfa’s workers, and Alfa’s finished goods QC. The meticulous process is to ensure we can produce consistent product for or customers.
In addition our product has been certified by Global gap, and China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
