Steven Ka Shum Leung has been in the produce business for over 40 years. In 2004, He decided with the help of his son Richard to build a modern packing facility in China to pack the best and most consistant apple from China. The plant, namely Alfa Fruit Packers, was completed and started operations on September 2004.

Alfa Fruit Packers was built on three hectares of land that includes a packing plant, a packing materials storage, 5 cold storages for a maximum storage space for 4000 tons of raw materials, a precooling facility for finished goods, dormitory and dinning facilities for over 200 workers. During 2014, the company further invested into a new state of the art color sorter, which takes 40 pictures of each apple going through the machine. With the newest technology, Alfa can further improve on its quality and consistency.

Throughout 13 years of operations, Alfa Fruit Packers has established good name recognition in India Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. Alfa Fruit Packers has recently been Global Gap certified, and is one of the only 5 companies that are allowed to export to Australia.

We are looking forward to expand our customer base through Asia Fruit Logistica. Hopefully we can further expand our produces into markets.
